Potty training toddlers is one of those parental tasks that can stress out even the most experienced parents.
Some toddlers love their potties and sit contentedly for hours, making the rest of us jealous ;) - others will take things more cautiously, then decide they really don't want that potty after all, regressing back to their beloved diapers just when we thought they'd got it sussed.
My son would start screaming at the very sight of a potty... and there were many occasions when my own efforts at potty training resulted in dismal failure!
So here are some fun game ideas that might help make potty training toddlers a little easier.

Of course, you might like to select a favorite song from a CD or just one you sing yourselves, and sing that together each time your child has been successful - with lots of applause at the end!

You can use charts like this to reward your child for
sitting on the potty - even for a short time, even if they do nothing at first!
asking you if they can sit on the potty
going and sitting on the potty all by themselves
using the potty successfully
- whatever you think your child deserves reward for!
More ideas for toddler potty training
Sing-a-long-a-potty - as mentioned above, create a list of songs to sing on the potty! Why not pin up a list near the potty so that your toddler doesn't have a chance to say they don't know what to sing?
Potty books - some toddlers like something to do while on the potty. Pop some books in a basket near the potty.
Treats work a treat - candy is OK now and then, but to reward a really successful potty time, why not stock up with some treats from the dollar store or a few little things you know your little one will appreciate?
Where's the potty game - hide the potty and hunt for it with your toddler. There may be some other reward taped to the potty if you're imaginative! Then get your toddler to sit on the potty.
Potty I Spy - if you're spending time with your toddler while they're on the potty, why not have a game of I Spy? If your potty is in the bathroom, add a few objects that you can use for the game in advance. Then change them now and again to add to the fun!
