Sites offering games just for little girls involve your child in more complex activities - whether it's dressing up, reading and responding or following a recipe.
What do girls want? Well, a shopping trip is always nice... or a little fashion dabbling. Or even some adventure!
Each site here is child-friendly, and most have easily-viewable kid-centered Privacy Policies.

Little Princess Kingdom Here's an original, magical place for little girls - join the Little Princess in her castle, and help her dress up or catch apples in her pram, count rabbits - or print out dot to dots. Your child can also create their own kingdom scene using a point and click/drag and drop activity, then print it out.

Rainbow Magic More imaginative online games for girls here. Have you heard of the Rainbow Magic books, featuring the Rainbow Magic fairies? This site lets you meet the characters, check out the books, and play fun games. There's coloring in, a fairy dress up game and activity sheets to print out, too.
There are also plans to produce an animated TV series based on the books, so I guess we'll be seeing a lot more of these fairies in the future!

Lisa Frank Online provides "stuff girls love" and it's packed with girly info, quizzes, games - such as Ask Genie or Marble Maze - and activities. A fair amount of reading is included here - but the subject matter is well presented and interesting.
Clikits from Lego The Fun Zone gets your daughter horse jumping, creating a doll's house, casting magical spells, and doing online jigsaw puzzles. Download school timetables or bookmarks, and read a story. Some fun online games for girls here which your little daughters will love.
American Girl Girly games, activities, quizzes and reading features. Help the Chocolate Chip puppy whizz through the Chocolate course, answer questions to find out who you are and what your style is - and how smart you are with a host of trivia games.
There are ecards to send, a featured joke, and your child can find out all about the historical and contemporary characters, as well as the American Girl pets. Take a doll's journey to Hawaii, create and print a report cover, and take part in multi-character games and activities, getting your daughter reading and interacting with characters.

You can click your country's flag to get to the site tailored for you - but I found more games on the UK or Australian version than I did for the US or Canada - so try them all out! (This could be because the TV series is newer to North America.)
My Little Pony My Little Pony online games for girls whisk you off to the Amusement Park, and the My Little Pony Butterfly Island Adventure Game. Visit Ponyville, enjoy coloring in, making a tiara - and creating some custom My Little Pony Dances! Great fun for little girls.
