This lion coloring page features a rather friendly looking lion, more cuddly-toy-ish than the roaring, fearsome creature we know!
He's the king of the jungle... although he doesn't live there, apparently preferring grassland or savannah. But he's king of the beasts alright - even his mane looks like a crown!
Kids can add grass, bushes, a snake crawling along the bottom of the page, and a wide blue sky with sun.

Color a shi shi lion Jan Brett's site offers a beautiful shi shi lion page. These lions are like lion-dogs, and are mythical beasts whose paired statues often guard temples to ward off any evil. You'll notice that one lion has its mouth open to let out anything bad, the other's mouth is shut to keep in all the good.
Lions coloring book National Geographic has a nice coloring page with a lion, lioness, and pics of the pads on lions' paws - as well as their claws!
