Use these printables as a kiddie ice-breaker for the start of your Thanksgiving celebration:
Print a set of these pix, cut round each picture and affix them on card/construction paper, and pop a selection on a kid-sized table.
Put a fun collection of chunky crayons, markers, pens, stickers etc on the table in boxes - then let the kids happily color in and decorate their Thanksgiving pictures!
Write each child's name on the back of their picture - and display them somewhere during your time together, then give them back to the children to keep when the party's over.

For kids PreK and up, Scholastic's First Thanksgiving Student Activities provide a unique online experience detailing the pilgrims' voyage on the Mayflower, daily life in the New World - and first Thanksgiving feast.
Take a tour of the Mayflower, look at the map while reading and listening to a description of the journey across the Atlantic, learn about the pilgrims' daily life, or watch the slideshow of the 1621 feast and how it was prepared!
You do need to take a good look at the activities before letting your child loose here, but whether you're "just looking" and having a fun time checking out the pictures, or whether you're homeschooling or interested in providing a more educational experience, do check out the Teacher's Guide mentioned at the bottom of each page - there are lots of ideas for each grade which you might find useful.
