Riding around on sticks used to be a hobby of mine many years ago... sitting up on the branch of a tree pretending I was riding my horse Champion ... or setting up empty boxes around the garden to create a show jumping arena, timing myself each go to see if I could jump it ever faster without knocking anything or falling over!
