The last thing you want to do is spend hours on the Internet searching for fun and thoughtfully produced baby shower games. Some packages come with hundreds of different games - giving you even more work to do in deciding which ones will fit the occasion. My shower games include baby name fun, mystery nursery rhymes, and resources to help your guests write their very own baby shower poem! Easy download: click on the title of each game to open up a PDF file into a new browser window - you'll need the free Adobe Reader. Word Duos
Your guests can decide the answers for themselves - and you can compare them to the answers I gave! Your guests will almost certainly have some correct answers I couldn't think of - and some funny ones too! Get fast finishers to think of a different phrase for each letter of the alphabet! Baby Name Origins This game will get your guests puzzling!
Possibly more a matter of luck than skill - will anyone get them all correct? This game includes the question sheet and a separate answer sheet :) Rhyme Initials How well do you remember those wonderful nursery rhymes?
So for the letter A we have... of course! As I Was Going To Saint Ives! Phew, that one was difficult, but never mind - there are 26 puzzles here, one for each letter of the alphabet, and more than enough to keep your guests guessing for a while! When you need to finish, check results with the answers given. Baby Shower Poem
Give your guests a piece of paper and pencil, and ask them to pick out four or five words from the hat. Then they must write a little baby poem, which includes the words they ended up with! The poems don't have to rhyme, of course, but just be as interesting as possible! A - Z Conundrums
Guests must think of a word for each letter of the alphabet. These could be pregnancy related words, baby names, baby items, or any fun topic of your choosing! Simply tell your guests the topic and let them play - they can do this in pairs or small groups. Baby Shower Jumble
You could make the game into a race - first to finish wins! Or you could use this game as an icebreaker as guests arrive, as it's sure to keep them busy for a bit :) If you want to extend this activity, why not tell everyone to add another ten or twenty baby related words to this list?
Question and answer sheet included. Ideal for your bedtime-themed shower games, but I think this one will fit nicely into any baby shower.
So just what is a baby dove called? Choose from the answers given at the bottom of the printable, then check your results with the solutions given. Black and White Baby Shower Game
It accompanies other black and white baby shower games if you'd like more ideas on this theme. If you want to extend the color theme, why not ask everyone to list titles of movies, books, or songs that have colors in them? Answer sheet included.
Guests also have to find ten hidden baby related words - and there's no clue as to what these are! Find more butterfly ideas with butterfly baby shower games. Hope you enjoyed my free printable baby shower games collection! Back to Baby Shower Games |
