Coloring suggestions
Younger kids might simply be happy coloring the whole castle one color, with the tower roofs another color, and something bright and breezy for the flags!
Why not take a good look at the picture with your child before you start, and think about which colors could be used for
the front middle section, the castle gate, and the battlements

the roofs, the windows, and the flags
- and you might also like to suggest adding a moat around the castle, with a bridge leading from the gate house over the moat... a little green grass, some flowers, and a wonderful blue sky!

Castle coloring book Great Castles dot com has a selection of all kinds of castles for kids to print out and color. There's the beautiful Bodiam Castle in England, completely surrounded by water. Or how about Burg Lichtenstein in Germany, which seems to float straight off the pages of a fairy tale!
