And your guests will just love watching the little ones play these games, too. Diaper dolly

Use a small doll or a picture of a baby and hide it somewhere in the house - you might want to limit the hunt to a few rooms. The first person to find the baby can hide it next time. Printable baby shower games for kids You could pair each child with an adult for any of these games if they need a little help to start off with. Pass the baby doll
Put the basket in the middle and give one child a doll. Explain to the children that at the end, all the "parcels" will be given to the new mother! Start the music. The children must pass the doll around the circle. When the music stops, the child holding the doll must open one of the favors. These could be a rattle, a baby biscuit, formula milk, a baby brush, a pacifier, teething gel, cotton wool or a plastic duck for the bath. When the child opens the "parcel", they must say what it is and what you do with it. Then everyone can talk about the item together... and the music starts again. Stick the nose on the baby Blindfold the child, spin them round three times and point them in the right direction. Write the name of the child on the spot where they stuck the nose. This game is twice as funny if the adults join in too. I can... baby can't
Sit in a circle with the children. The first child must say something they can do that baby can't - for example, "I can climb trees, baby can't. Then they must say why baby can't do this. Why can't baby tell a joke? Or get itself dressed? Or draw pictures? You should get some interesting answers to these questions! You can stress the fact that they too were babies once, and couldn't do any of those things - but now they can, and one day the new baby will be able to as well. Which might provoke an entirely new line of questioning! Mystery taste test
Can they identify what each food is made of? You can use the activity to talk about the kind of food babies like, what is safe for them to eat, and what the children can eat now that they couldn't eat when they were babies. More baby shower ideas for kids' games |
