Alphabet games provide great learning game experiences for little kids - and there are some wonderful alphabet learning resources on the web where kids can really enjoy themselves!
ABCs, letter activities and reading games work well with a host of interactive enjoyment thrown in! If you're teaching kids the alphabet, some short bursts of practice on the computer add a fresh dimension to your efforts.
ABC games online include bashing the keyboard activites, matching upper and lower case, hunting letters, and coloring fun.
So here are my suggestions for alphabet activities, starting with a little something for the very little ones.

Alphabet games for little kids
Fisher Price - Learn Your ABCs Click to start the game, then your child can hit any key to transform A into B and through to Z. The game finishes with a fairly good rendition of the ABC song.
Learn to Read at Starfall Now this is a very interesting site. You'll see the ABC link at the top of the page.
Clicking on any of the letter blocks on the game page combines a picture of the letter in upper and lower case with music and movement.
The game page also has vowels in circles. Clicking on those brings up an animation and song. (click on the letters to start it off!)
Your child should have knowledge of the alphabet letters and sounds to play these games. They range from finding the letter "a" on an apple hidden in a bowl of fruit, to catching falling letters (fun!) and making a word.
Excellent, clear graphics all the way.
Zoobamafoo Animal Alphabet From PBS Kids, this game gets your little one matching alphabet letters with pictures of animals - then asks them to match these up to the words. You can print out the pictures of all the animals too!
Sesame Street Letter of the Day Still on the PBS site, feed the Cookie Monster with items beginning with the correct letter.
Big-Ears Pop and Spell This link takes you to the US version of Noddy dot com. The game seems to have disappeared from the UK site! Once there, you're looking for the Pop and Spell game, which is in the "games" section - click on Noddy and his house in the picture to navigate your way! Help Big-Ears spell the words by popping the balloons.
Sesame Street alphabet fun Check out the alphabet section where you'll find Alphabet Soup, Big Bird's Letters, and a toddler Keyboard-o-rama game!
Jan Brett - Hedgie's Alphabet Game There's so much in this site - more for the "older" little kids in fact, and this game involves matching words to pictures, and listening to Hedgie say the word. It's fun though, and a good intro for young kids to matching up words (even if they can't read them properly yet) - the illustrations are beautiful.
